These are not ethics. They are requirements.
Every rule is a product that does not exist yet. The interface can disappear. A right cannot. One argument, two halves: the show reports where these rights get taken; these notes specify how to build them back.
The six rules
- The Right to Disappear Deletion should be a fact, not a boolean called is_deleted. Working note
- The Right to Decide Who Sees You Visibility is consent, and consent cannot live in a settings menu. Working note
- The Right to See Your Digital Profile You should be able to open the file they keep on you. Working note
- The Right to Be Anonymous An unmarked life is not a loophole. It is a human need. Working note
- Identity Mining If your profile is extracted for value, you get a share of it. Working note
- The Proof of Human Proving you're alive shouldn't require handing a vendor your voiceprint. Working note
